Celebrate Good Times

Hi guys! :)

I just wanted to drop by and say a quick hello!

Today is a super exciting day for me.

I woke up and finished proofreading my paper that was due today.  It was kind of a pain in the tushie, but I had a little helper:

She definitely boosted my grade by at least a letter! :)

I got the paper in on time, and I felt pretty durrrn good about it.

So, with that turned in, I am officially DONE with law school {insert happy dance}.

I have so much to reflect back on about this experience, but I'm going to save that subject until I actually officially graduate this coming Sunday.

Needless to say, I headed off to work in a very chipper mood today, and came home ready to celebrate.

Well, first I went to an insanely hot barre burn class.  I'm not sure what the h-e-double-hockey-sticks was going on, because apparently it wasn't actually hotter in temperature or humidity in there, but I was close to death.  I had to leave the room before we were finished for a little break.  Unfortunately it's not like Bikram Yoga where you can just lay down in savasana when you're about to pass out.

There are some craayyy-zee storms going on here in the Chicago area, so once I got home, we ended up deciding to stay in for our mini-celebration.

Here's what's on the agenda for tonight:

1) Some good wine, courtesy of my wonderful boyfriend.

2) Some roasted red pepper hummus & my FAAVORTE Stacy's Pita Chips as an appetizer.

I've never been a I-can't-stop-I-have-to-eat-the-whole-bag kinda girl until I was introduced to these chips. It's dangerous, very dangerous.

3) American Idol!!! Yeaa yeaaa. Haley & Lauren are my favorites, but I'm not sure if that's just because they're the only two girls left!

4) Soon to arrive take out from my favorite -- Pizza Capri.  I ordered Gnocci with Chicken & Broccoli.  We don't do take out a lot unless it's a late-night pizza, but I was in the mood to do it up big tonight.

What a wild night we are having over here! ;)

Well, I'm off to relax and enjoy the feeling of never (hopefully) having to sit through a class or final exam/final paper (besides the biggest test of my life, of course) again!

**Something to talk about: How do you celebrate big occasions/accomplishments?

Hope you all have a great night & I will see you back here (hopefully earlier!) tomorrow.

xoxo

Jess
